I can’t imagine a better place for a buffet than in Vegas, and it is astounding how good the buffets are! The M Resort’s specialty Sunday Lobster Seafood Brunch definitely takes top spot in my opinion. And for the classic over the top style Vegas buffets? There are two contenders of the number one spot. That would be the Wynn Buffet and Caesars Bacchanal Buffet. I have visited Wynn a little while ago and it was fantastic with the lobster stuffed tacos with caviar and the mountains of seafood. But how does Caesars Bacchanal compare? I think there’s only one way to find out and that is to do it in person!

The Vegas buffet gets better and better but I guess there sometimes is Too Much of a Good Thing. I am all buffeted out and looking for something light and comforting. I decide to venture outside the typical Vegas locations; away from the Strip and away from Downtown LV. Many great gems are found just a few minutes outside the Vegas Blvd area around the Henderson Area and the Chinatown area.

This was my first time seeing it rain in Vegas, and it was pouring! And I can't think of a better way to lift the spirits early in the morning than with a nice cup of coffee and a donut to two.. (or 6). And the day gets even better because I get to meet Matthew from @SayHiToMatthew as we trek out to the @Donut Bar to enjoy not only the regular favourites, but their weekend special as well! From the French toast donut to a cinnamon grilled cheese donut! The donuts were delicious, soft and round (kinda like some people I know) and as good as the treats were, the people there made it just that extra special!

During an unplanned and unexpected trip to Vegas, I got a chance to explore the strip a little more. Sometimes when travelling, a little bit of comfort food is in order...something crispy, greasy and warm.
