The Laugh After Dark ComedyFest returns to Las Vegas for its fifth year, running Monday through Wednesday, Oct. 26-28. The festival's own site and the Las Vegas Review-Journal both list nine live stand-up shows and more than 40 comedy films, along with workshops, live tapings and parties.
Shows are at L.A. Comedy Club at The Strat, with screenings and panels on Third Street in the Arts District. The festival describes the whole footprint as about 1.4 miles. Top-billed comics named by the Review-Journal include Jamal Coleman, Chris Clarke, Brittany Doss, Gator Joshua Higuera, Gabe Quire, Gabe Nolasco and Evan Connolly.
Fest passes and day passes are on sale through the festival site, laughafterdarkcomedyfest.com. They give first-come entry to festival events, so entry is not guaranteed once a room is full. All the comedy shows are filmed live. The festival lists a $30 all-you-can-drink special at L.A. Comedy Club for attendees, and passes include the online film festival, which streams on LADTV from Oct. 26 to Nov. 5.
The festival hasn't posted showtimes or pass prices on its schedule page, so check its site before you go.
