National Finals Rodeo

The National Finals Rodeo (NFR) is the premier championship rodeo event in the United States, organized by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). It is the culmination of a season-long series of competitions where cowboys and cowgirls compete in various rodeo events to earn points towards the world title. Held annually in December, the NFR showcases the talents of the top 15 money-winners in events such as bull riding, barrel racing, steer wrestling, and team roping. Over ten action-packed days, contestants battle it out for the coveted gold buckle and their share of a multi-million dollar prize purse, making it one of the richest rodeos in the world.
