Criss-crossing the globe while playing over 150 shows a year, Crespo’s unique style of open format has become a staple of top clubs, parties, and festivals the world over. Daniel Crespo, 27, has always been familiar with the word mix. Born to a Filipino father and Puerto Rican mother, he was raised on the North Side of Chicago listening to Otis Redding, the Bee Gees, Donna Summer, salsa, and merengue. After moving to Miami at an early age, Crespo became exposed to the sounds of Miami Bass, Reggage, Hip Hop, and electronic dance, which has cultivated the eclectic style displayed in his sets today
