Celeste is an actress, writer, comedian, and internet sensation. Hailed as the “Australian Queen of Comedy”, Celeste's original celebrity parody Instagram account has attracted over 9.5 million followers. In 2017, Celeste won the ‘Funniest Lady on Instagram’ Award on WhoHaha.com; a digital platform co-founded by Elizabeth Banks which showcases women in comedy around the world. In 2019, she was included in Variety Magazine’s prestigious ‘Variety’s 10 Comics to Watch’ Awards.Celeste toured Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Europe in 2022 and 2023 with her stand-up show Celeste Barber: Fine, Thanks. Celeste finished her tour with a special filmed performance at the iconic Sydney Opera House that was released on Netflix in 2023.
