Brandon Flowers

As frontman and principal songwriter of The Killers, Brandon Flowers helped define a generation of rock. Now, on his third solo album Thrasher, he turns inward — drawing on a Utah upbringing shaped by his father’s country records and the wide-open landscapes of small-town Nephi to craft his most personal collection of songs yet. Recorded in Nashville with producers Shawn Everett and Jonathan Rado, Thrasher brings together a cast of session legends — including guitarist David Rawlings, pedal steel master Bruce Bouton, and harmonica virtuoso Charlie McCoy, who played on all four of Bob Dylan’s iconic Nashville records — for an album of honky-tonk ragers, highway ballads, and lived-in American storytelling.
