Acrobatics
Our pick: Absinthe
Absinthe's acts are the stronger of the two, performed on a tiny round stage with the audience wrapped right around it. Atomic Saloon has good variety acts, but they share the bill with a lot more scripted comedy.

Head to head
Where they genuinely differ, and which we would pick on each count.
Comedy
Too close to call
Both are filthy. Absinthe's humour comes from a host working the crowd between acts; Atomic Saloon is closer to a sketch comedy with a cast of characters and a loose plot. Pick by which format you prefer.
Value
Our pick: Atomic Saloon Show
Atomic Saloon Show usually lists the lower starting price, and the room is small enough that there are few bad seats.
Which should you choose?
Find the description that sounds most like your group.
Choose Absinthe if…
World-class acrobats on a tiny round stage, inches from the front row, stitched together by a host whose comedy is gleefully filthy.
- You want acrobatics so close you can see the performers breathe.
- Crude, no-limits comedy sounds like a good night rather than a risk.
- You would rather be in a packed tent than a grand theatre.
Think twice if: anyone in your group is easily offended, or dreads being picked on from the stage.

Choose Atomic Saloon Show if…
A bawdy Wild West comedy with variety acts, set in a working saloon small enough that the whole room is part of the show.
- You want a loose, drink-in-hand comedy night more than jaw-dropping stunts.
- A smaller room and a lower starting price appeal.
- You have already seen Absinthe and want something in the same spirit.
Think twice if: you want the biggest acrobatic acts; the comedy leads here.
