The casino resort cost $460 million and it opened on January 3, 1997. The resort resemble a New York City skyline. It has 2,024 rooms and it is home to the Big Apple Coaster and Hershey's Chocolate World. It is also home to some notable restaurants like Gallagher's Steakhouse, Il Fornaio Las Vegas, and Nusr-Et Las Vegas. Behind the New York New York is the T Mobile Arena, which is home the Vegas Golden Knights as well as sports and music events.
