Episode Description
The Fontainebleau Las Vegas is a hotel and casino currently under construction on the Las Vegas Strip It is on the 24.5-acre site previously occupied by the El Rancho Hotel and Casino and the Algiers Hotel.
It was intended to be a sister property to the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel. It would be developed by Fontainebleau Resorts, which was owned by Jeff Soffer.
Fontainebleau's proposed features include a 173,000 sq ft casino.
3,644 hotel rooms.
The 90,000 sq ft retail area will cover two floors and include approximately 35 high-end retailers.
The resort will have a focus on conferences, taking advantage of its location near the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The property will have more than 550,000 sq ft of meeting space.
The property is also expected to feature entertainment options, including a performing theater, a nightclub, and a dayclub on the ninth-floor pool deck.
