The Getaway

We’re a couple based in the Los Angeles area who love Las Vegas and try to get there as often as our time and budget will allow. Gambling (mostly low limit penny slots), food, cocktails, and the overall feel and vibe of Las Vegas — we love and crave it. We mostly stay on the Strip — the Bellagio, Aria, Mirage, and Encore — but always find time to spend a day in Downtown Las Vegas to gamble at casinos such as the Golden Nugget, the Plaza, Circa, and the D. For food, Oscar’s is probably our current favorite, but there’s so much to explore and try. Other favorite places include Paris, Boston (where one of us grew up), Vancouver, BC (where one of us is from), San Francisco, and Santa Barbara.
