Hailing from Lawrence, Massachusetts, Statik Selektah started his career as a DJ on Boston radio stations. In 2008 he broke through with his debut album that featured Q-Tip, Bun B, Jadakiss, Talib Kweli and many more. Since then Statik has become one of the most requested and active hip-hop producers. He's produced for Eminem, Nas, Lecrae, Mac Miller, Wale and full length projects with Action Bronson, Freddie Gibbs, Saigon & Freeway. He also currently has a show on Thursday nights on Eminem's Shade 45 XM/Sirius radio station.
