We visited Pinball Hall of Fame mostly for the non-pinball aspects of the place. They have many retro arcade cabinets from the 80's including: Tetris, Super Mario, Tron, Punch-Out!!, Paperboy, Track & Fields and many more!

The Pinball Hall of Fame opened in Paradise, Nevada in January 2006. It is a project of the Las Vegas Pinball Collectors Club, and it features pinball machines from all eras, including some very rare machines such as Williams' Black Gold, Bally's Pinball Circus and Recreativos Franco's Impacto. It features approximately 400 different pinball games, including some classic video arcade games and other novelty machines of the past and present.

The term used for ancestors of these venues in the beginning of the 20th century was penny arcades.Video games were introduced in amusement arcades in the late 1970s and were most popular during the golden age of arcade video games, the early 1980s. Arcades became popular with children and particularly adolescents, which led parents to be concerned that video game playing might cause them to skip school.
