"Honolulu City Lights" is a song composed by Keola Beamer in the early 1970s. This is the original recording by the Beamer Brothers. The song was a local hit in Hawaii and is still remembered fondly by many Hawaiians, including those citizens who have left the Island state for whatever reasons, and long to go back.

A cover was done by Richard and Karen Carpenter in 1978, but the song was not released until 1986 on a single, and 1989 on an album.
