Apache Hotel Review, Binion's Vintage Rooms Las Vegas

YouTube March 28, 2020

Episode Description

I enjoyed my stay at the Apache Hotel in March of 2020
It was only a short overnight trip but I have not stayed at Binion’s since 2007.
The room was on the 2nd floor up the small set of stairs next to the desk. It was pretty small but not cramped as the flat screen was hanging on the wall and the bed was only a Double. The window did not open but I didn't mind as the only thing to see would have been the back of the signage for Binion’s Casino. The walk in rate for that FRIDAY was only $79 which was about average for the weekend. The room was set in vintage decor. The bathroom was up to date and contained nice toiletries (nothing generic or cheap). The noise levels got a little loud but nothing exceptional.
The staff were GREAT this trip, unlike the month before when I asked to stay in a Vintage room but the Front desk lady was RUDE and wouldn't allow a 1pm Check in. I left and stayed elsewhere. That trip. The Slots are always fun and busy at Binions and The Video Poker is pretty good. I play a lot downtown so It's important to me to get a good room at a good price. This was more of an opportunity to stay at Binions after all these years so I took it.
The room itself was fine, no issues, the rate was also normal and no problem paying that on a weekend. Binion’s has a new bar called Whisky Licker Up loocated on the 2nd floor with a 360 degree rotating bar with views out to the Sh*t Show that is Fremont Street. I would recommend a stay at Apache Hotel as a Novelty adventure in Vintage Vegas, but not as a comfortable room to relax in.
