The majority of this footage was shot at the grand reopening of Jim Caruso's Cast Party at Birdland on Monday, July 5, 2021. It also happened to be the 18th Anniversary of the iconic Open Mic/Variety Show, which celebrates up and coming as well as established talent on the Birdland stage! Special thanks to Matt Baker for the beautiful edit, Alex Pearlman and Matt Baker for filming, owner Gianni Valenti and the great Birdland staff, and of course, Billy Stritch at the piano, Steve Doyle on bass and Daniel Glass on drums.
