Don't be afraid to stay at the Excalibur las Vegas hotel and casino. This place has all the basics for a decent and fun Las Vegas stay including the room accommodation. Here is a full room tour of the basic room in the resort tower on the 19th floor with a strip view. Note that if you don't get a strip view you will face the inner building which is not nice so it may be worth a few dollar upgrade to see the nice view as shown in this video.
