Fight Preview: Canelo Alvarez vs Gennady Golovkin III

Saul Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin will lock horns for the third time on September 17th for the undisputed super middleweight championship.

It will form a conclusion to a fierce rivalry in which two high-profiled fights prior have had fans debating and arguing ever since. The first resulted in a highly controversial draw in which many felt Golovkin (GGG) was the deserved victor. And the second allowed Canelo to redeem himself with an aggressive, brave display to win on points - despite protests yet again from some sections of the boxing public.

Canelo has since gone onto become boxing's biggest superstar, with sensational wins over title-holders in higher weights to become a 4-weight world champion. Golovkin himself bounced back to become a unified champion at Middleweight once again.

Now the two meet for the final time to complete a trilogy on a rivalry that's captivated fans for the better part of a decade.
