“The Unauthorized Musical Parody of” hit series at Rockwell Table & Stage takes on the 2011 comedy blockbuster film “Bridesmaids” in what promises to be a raunchy, rollicking good time! This side-splitting parody returns September 6 thru November 17, 2018 with shows Thursday thru Saturday at 8pm, and 12 noon on Sundays, so get your tickets today!

Annie (Natalie Lander), is the maid of honor whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian (Molly Stilliens), and a group of colorful bridesmaids (Ashley Argota, Nohely Quiroz, Aynsley Bubbico, and Desi Dennis-Dylan) on a wild ride down the road to the “I do’s”. Though tragically single and broke, Annie bluffs her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals. With one chance to get it perfect, she'll show Lillian and her bridesmaids just how far you'll go for someone you love.

“This parody, driven by song and dialogue, is an homage to one of the most side-splitting films of all times," says Executive Producer Kate Pazakis. “Adapting this for Rockwell’s dinner theater with ‘tasteful raunch’ while recalling our own experiences with weddings—and all that leads up to them—had us rise to the challenge…but it’s guaranteed to keep you laughing. Audiences have been clamoring for it, so we’re thrilled to bring this show back for this special limited run! The cast, the music, the laughs — it’s been lightning in a bottle all under Marissa Jaret Winokur’s direction, which helps provide the emotional heart.”

Kate Pazakis pulls double duty as the show’s writer and producer. This show is co-directed by Tony Award Winner and Celebrity Big Brother Winner, Marissa Jaret Winokur, and by Christopher Youngsman. Musical direction by Gregory Nabours. Cast includes: Natalie Lander, Desi Dennis-Dylan, Ashley Argota, Nohely Quiroz, Aynsley Bubbico, Molly Stilliens, Nathan Moore, and Keir Kirkegaard.

Created by Kate Pazakis, The UMPO (The Unauthorized Musical Parody Of) Series merges movies and musical theatre, revisiting and retooling popular films for live audiences.
