Episode Description
Legendary rock band U2 performed a surprise set in front of the Plaza Hotel and Casino in downtown Las Vegas ahead of the start of their residency at the brand new Sphere Vegas. The band was shooting a music video for their new song “Atomic City,” which has references to all things Vegas including Sinatra, UFO’s, roulette, and of course atomic bomb testing.
During this unannounced, surprise performance, U2 also performed their 1987 hit, “I still haven’t found what I’m looking for” in which the music video for that song was shot on the Fremont Street Experience.
For any film production shot in the city of Las Vegas, the crew must get a film permit with the city. These permits are FREE. More information can be found at: https://www.lasvegasnevada.gov/Business/Permits-Licenses/Film-Permits
