Ride the Rails! Rail Explorers Las Vegas is located just a short drive from the Las Vegas strip in Boulder City, Nevada. Custom made electric-assist carts that seat 2 or 4 people sit on railroad tracks and allow you to ride an 8-mile stretch down near Rail Road Pass. At the halfway point is a nice rest area with chairs and fire pits during night rides to enjoy while the staff turns your carts around for the return leg of the journey. Online and phone reservations highly recommended and locals receive a decent discount! Alex and I met with my sisters, Nephew, and parents using two carts to enjoy this journey. We did this journey in January we had wonderful weather in the middle of the day. There are similar locations around the USA that offer different scenery and distances, we look foreword to visiting them as well. This location is a perfect "What to do in Las Vegas" for a couple hours during your stay or for locals who want a fun activity.
