Episode Description
The MSG Sphere is a large, spherical entertainment venue being built by Madison Square Garden Entertainment Corp. in Las Vegas, Nevada. The venue is being designed to provide a fully immersive experience for audiences, with cutting-edge audio and visual technology, as well as interactive elements.
Some of the features planned for the MSG Sphere Las Vegas include:
- A spherical LED screen that wraps around the interior of the venue, providing 360-degree visuals and immersive effects.
- A state-of-the-art sound system that uses beamforming technology to direct sound to specific areas of the venue, creating a personalized audio experience for each audience member.
- Interactive features such as haptic flooring, which can vibrate and move in response to the content being presented.
- Mixed reality experiences that blend virtual and real-world elements to create immersive environments.
The MSG Sphere is being built on a 63-acre site just off the Las Vegas Strip, and is expected to have a seating capacity of up to 18,000 people. The venue is currently under construction, with an estimated completion date of 2023.
