The Sahara Las Vegas is a hotel and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip. The property was originally opened in 1952 and has undergone several renovations and rebrandings over the years. The current incarnation of the Sahara was reopened in 2014 after a major renovation, and features over 1,600 rooms and suites, a 60,000 square foot casino, several restaurants and bars, and a rooftop pool and lounge. The hotel also has a 24-hour fitness center, a full-service spa, and a variety of meeting and event spaces. The Sahara is known for its mid-century modern design, which pays homage to the hotel's classic Vegas roots, and for its convenient location on the north end of the Strip.
