Carrot Top returns to the Luxor stage Monday, Oct. 19

Carrot Top is set to return to the Atrium Showroom at Luxor Resort & Casino on Monday, Oct. 19, for his 8 p.m. show, resuming the Las Vegas residency he has headlined since 2005.

The comedian, whose real name is Scott Thompson, shared the news in an Instagram post on Saturday, Oct. 17. It was his first public statement since he was hospitalized in September after a suicide attempt.

In the post he thanked fans and supporters. “I’m truly overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, support, prayers, and well wishes I’ve received over the past couple of weeks,” he wrote. “Every message, text, and kind thought has meant more to me than you know.” He added: “Thank you for being there for me during this time. It truly means the world to me!”

Luxor lists Carrot Top at 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with some dark dates. Guests must be 16 or older, and Luxor notes that seating is not guaranteed for late arrivals.
