Van Cleef & Arpels was born in 1906 in Place Vendôme, Paris from a love story between Alfred Van Cleef, the son of a diamond merchant, and Esther (known as Estelle) Arpels, the daughter of a jeweller. For over 100 years, Van Cleef & Arpels has approached High Jewellery as a form of art. In pursuit of perfection and unyielding excellence, our gemmologists select only the purest, most exceptional stones.
