Sunrise & Canyon Golf Courses

Our 27-hole, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed course can be played 3 unique ways and offers lush golf conditions with panoramic scenery. This spectacular course, with rolling hills and tree-lined fairways, has been a 5-time host of the PGA Las Vegas Invitational. You will find many strategically placed lakes, waterfalls and streams sprinkled thoughout our all-grass course; these features, in addition to 120 bunkers, create a new challenge at every hole. The course is designed to challenge the novice as well as the professional golfer.

The Sunrise Course
The Sunrise course measures a total of 3,426 yards from the Championship tees. Sunrise requires a strong approach to avoid fairway bunkers; however, it is the most forgiving in the width of all fairways and the few out of bounds areas that can be found. The Sunrise course is the most traditional and straightforward of the nines but, it also features one of the PGA Tour's most challenging Par 3 holes - the 5th was ranked as one of the most difficult holes during the PGA Las Vegas invitational that was hosted by Spanish Trail Country Club 5 times. And of course, the most desirable tee time is early enough to watch the Las Vegas sun arise, on Sunrise.

The Canyon Course
The Canyon Course rates as the longest of the three nines, measuring 3,576 from the championship tees and is the sentimental favorite of most of our members. While you enjoy the view of the Spring Mountain Range you will experience the difficult combination of risk vs. reward. Canyon offers two beautiful Par 3's, one of which being #2 featuring a gorgeous lake and waterfall located right next to the green. The finishing stretch of #7, #8 and #9 will test even the best golfer; #7 is a 215- yard Par 3 framed by bunkers and desert landscape - par is a very good score. The #8 hole is a Par 5 hole and measures 567 yards but plays much longer than the actual yardage as water protects the green. Finally, #9 measures 421 yards and has an elevated green protected by deep bunkers.
