About Searchlight Library
The mining town of Searchlight opened its first library in 1969 and moved into a new joint facility in 1989. Constructed with Federal Block Grant money, the 1,200-square-foot library shares the building with the Health Clinic and the Searchlight Museum. It houses over 7,000 items.

Searchlight Library is open Tuesday and Wednesday 1:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Thursday 1:00 AM to 7:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It is closed Monday, Friday and Sunday.
