Dr. Q VIP Medicine

Dr. Qamar, or “Dr. Q”, first conceived the practice concept in 2002 during residency at Penn Medicine Lancaster General, where his views on personalized medicine made the cover story of the Central Penn Business Journal. Dr. Q’s vision, to have a private practice where he could provide high levels of service in addition to outstanding medical care, was the foundation of a then-emerging primary care movement called “concierge medicine”. Concierge medicine was still a new concept when Dr. Q decided to bring it to the West Coast. His emphasis on personal attention, convenient access, and provision of excellent medical care caught the attention of many establishments looking to provide similar services. Upon arriving in Monterey, California in 2005, Dr. Q was invited by Pebble Beach Resorts to serve as their official House Physician, and thus the practice was born. Originally “Q Concierge Physicians”, the practice later changed its name to Dr. Q — VIP Medicine and with offices in Pebble Beach, Monterey, and Silicon Valley, became the first and most successful concierge practice in the region. In 2012, the practice moved to the Summerlin suburbs of Las Vegas, Nevada as Dr. Q worked on plans to expand various healthcare ventures around the country.

Dr. Qamar has provided concierge medical services for the past 14 years. In addition to discerning families within the local community, the practice also has a record of providing high-touch care to many celebrities, including Hollywood stars, professional singers, heads of government, financial personalities, and professional athletes.
