Canyon & Lakes Golf Courses

Our 27-hole, Robert Trent Jones, Jr. designed course can be played 3 unique ways and offers lush golf conditions with panoramic scenery. This spectacular course, with rolling hills and tree-lined fairways, has been a 5-time host of the PGA Las Vegas Invitational. You will find many strategically placed lakes, waterfalls and streams sprinkled throughout our all-grass course; these features, in addition to 120 bunkers, create a new challenge at every hole. The course is designed to challenge the novice as well as the professional golfer.

The Canyon Course
The Canyon Course rates as the longest of the three nines, measuring 3,576 from the championship tees and is the sentimental favorite of most of our members. While you enjoy the view of the Spring Mountain Range you will experience the difficult combination of risk vs. reward. Canyon offers two beautiful Par 3's, one of which being #2 featuring a gorgeous lake and waterfall located right next to the green. The finishing stretch of #7, #8 and #9 will test even the best golfer; #7 is a 215- yard Par 3 framed by bunkers and desert landscape - par is a very good score. The #8 hole is a Par 5 hole and measures 567 yards but plays much longer than the actual yardage as water protects the green. Finally, #9 measures 421 yards and has an elevated green protected by deep bunkers.

The Lakes Course
The Lakes nine is just as you would expect with lakes, creeks and waterfall features, water comes into play on 6 out of the 9 holes. The general safe play on the Lakes course is to stay left to avoid penalty strokes, drops, mulligans and hitting from the same spot more than once. Further difficulty can be found in the rolling fairways as seldom will you find a truly flat lie on this side of the property. The beautiful and scenic hole #3 is Spanish Trail Country Club's signature Par 3, measuring 180 yards with 2 lake carries. With lakes, waterfalls, floral patterns of our Club logo and one incredibly difficult green Lakes #3 offers you a spectacular golf hole and memorable design. Lakes rates as the most difficult of the three nines, but as you will see, it also makes for the most enjoyment!
