1 & 1 Drill at Las Vegas Gunfights

The “1&1 Drill” is what we call a “contingency drill”. Using our MITT System and Simunition, the drill is set up using one round in the weapon mag, 1 round in the reload mag. People can rarely execute a reload or weapon clearance in close contact. When someone is pressing, we have to delay the reload/clearance and deal with the attacker by injuring them with a pistol punch to the eye or teeth. While they are recovering (or not) that gives us the time and space to get back to getting the weapon in battery for some follow up.
