Shoshinkan

Welcome to Shoshinkan Las Vegas! We are a traditional martial arts school offering training in Aikido, Judo, and Karate, including instruction in Aiki weapons and Okinawan Karate weapons (Kobudo). Our dojo is a traditional Japanese dojo where students have the ability to practice all three arts or focus on one. For both adults and children, one goal of training is an absolute focus on self-discipline which is one of the central tenets of all martial arts.

Today many children have become so accustomed to receiving instant gratification that lessons in self-control and discipline aren’t always easy to come by. Children who practice martial arts, however, are continually engaged in learning how essential self-discipline is and how imperative it is to respect yourself and others.

Martial arts training doesn't end at the dojo. Improvements in behavior, a boost in confidence, and increased fitness level, and new cooperation skills can help your children more effectively navigate the challenging academic and social aspects of the school. Martial arts training provides lifelong opportunities for children and adults to set new goals and empower themselves physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Shoskinkan is a non-profit 501- (C)(3) dojo with classes for adults and children. Come visit and try out different classes! Don’t be intimidated by your lack of previous training or your age. Everyone can enjoy learning martial arts. Begin to create positive change in your life today.
