Las Vegas shows this week are led by Cyndi Lauper’s first Las Vegas residency, alongside the Sick New World Festival and Phish at Sphere. In this episode of Las Vegas Live, Adam Torres breaks down what to do in Las Vegas right now, plus major updates including David Copperfield’s final weeks and the Hard Rock Guitar Tower reaching full height on the Strip.
The episode opens with what’s new in Las Vegas, starting with Cyndi Lauper launching her first-ever Las Vegas residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, a milestone moment following a four-decade career. At the same time, David Copperfield is in the final stretch of his 25-year MGM Grand run, with fewer than two weeks remaining before closing one of the most established residencies in Las Vegas history. The Hard Rock Guitar Tower continues its rise on the former Mirage site, with the full 42-story structure now clearly taking shape on the Strip.
On the entertainment side, Cyndi Lauper’s opening weekend anchors the city, while Sick New World returns as a one-day heavy music festival featuring System of a Down, Korn, and a full day lineup across multiple stages. Phish continues its Sphere residency with three nights of performances built around improvisation and evolving visual production inside the venue’s immersive environment.
Other highlights include WWE Monday Night Raw at T-Mobile Arena following WrestleMania, David Byrne at the Colosseum, the B-52s at the Venetian Theater, NAB Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Latin artist Cazzu at Dolby Live, and the Las Vegas Aviators home stretch in Summerlin.
