The Cult

English rock band The Cult gained a dedicated following in the United Kingdom in the mid-1980s as a post-punk and gothic rock band before breaking into the mainstream in the United States. It was the band’s third studio album, Electric, in 1987, which launched them to new heights of success with hit singles like Love Removal Machine, Lil’ Devil and Wild Flower. The band’s fourth album, Sonic Temple, included one of its most popular songs, Fire Woman.
