Sofia Nino de Rivera

Named “Woman of the Year” by Chilango magazine in 2016, she’s been known as a “leader exponent of stand-up comedy in Mexico and Latin America,” actually being a pioneer of this genre. Her Netflix comedy special, “Sofía Niño de Rivera: Expuesta,” was the first comedy special in Spanish by a woman on Netflix. Since it was extremely successful, Sofia presented a second comedy special on Netflix called “Selección Natural” and performed at venues such as the Gotham Comedy Club in New York and the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City.
