MGM Lion

45 feet tall and 50 tons, bronze Leo sits on a pedestal at the main entrance of the MGM Grand Casino. In 1998 he replaced a stylized lion head entrance that superstitious Asian gamblers avoided because they believed it would cause bad luck. Leo was cleaned and polished in April 2021.
